You have no idea what you are taking about. These are on opposite ends of a continuim, where vaccines are 100% poisonous chemical concoctions designed to disempower the body and cause new disease, and homeopathy is 100% energy medicine that works with and empowers the body to heal itself.
Few people understand that if the homeopathic remedy is not the correct one, it does absolutely nothing...no harm, nothing, making it doubly safe.
I am living proof of what I state above, twice over. When I had horses, I sued homeopathics; when I had dogs, I used homeopathics. Always, my horses were healthy and never sick.
My homeopath was never able to end my osteoarthritis. I still have the pills he sold me to do that. I asked him to ask the homeopath who trained him what he would suggest to my homeopath, but he never did. So do you know how I would cure osteoarthritis in my left knee joint? Is DMSO legit, safe or snake oil? I use homoeopathy but am unsure as to whether the effects are placebo or due to the medicine. It isn't an energy medicine, but what is the mechanism of action, especially at high dilutions when there are no molecules of the substance in the remedy? Don't know. Hahnemann formulated the system pre knowledge of genetics and immunology.
I will be writing a literature review of the research into DMSO next year. I have deliberately not read any articles about it (such as the Midwestern doctor) to avoid unconsciously biasing myself.
"Enormous financial burden on healthcare systems"? Very few of these remedies are typically prescribed for trauma, so it should be "on patients." Prohibit medical insurance for anything other than trauma, and just possibly catastrophic conditions like cancer, as odious wagering!
I can tell you all about homeopathy ... I lost two youngers brothers to the conventional (Allopathic) treatment of leukemia. Their's were horrific deaths for no good reason.
When I consented to provide my bone marrow for the transplant to the 2nd brother afflicted, the 'doctors' claimed I too had the same leukemia, and even called a 'family intervention' as a way to coerce me into going on their slash and burn regime that had already taken 2 young brothers for no good reason.
Instead, I returned home to Vancouver (from Ottawa), and attended my highly-trained, European-trained physican, who was not only trained in western medicine, but in natural remedies, and especially homeopathy. Why should everyone have a homeopathic and herbal first-aid kit in their home and car? Because Prince Charles often stated publicly that he would never leave home without his, AND THE ENTIRE Royal Family used Homeopathy almost exclusively, and even had a HOMEOPATHIC physical on staff.
If its good enough for the Royals of Europe and wealthy of North America, you need to stop listening to western pharmaceutical propaganda and start learning how to use homeopathics and herbs, as well as proper foods and clean water.
If any business that makes money from selling you something while running down time-proven, inexpensive treatments and approaches, know they are lying to make a profit. If you looked at how millions of people have died because the pharmaceutical-controlled governments deprived their people of safe, effective and inexpensive treatments, they you should know never to go back to pharmaceutical drugs.

I don't know how that transition happened and exactly when but doctors started becoming 'high status rich people' and that just doesn't jive with being an honest healer.
There are indeed good an honest allopathic doctors but they get canceled or even fired for voicing genuine concerns that go against the mainstream of fellow doctor...same goes for scientists. If scientists go against the grain with solid proofs, the science community blacklists them and they no longer get grants for their work. Our medical and science system needs a massive overhaul.
Two names are missing from your historical review: Flexner and Rockefeller. Together with the AMA, they were critical in shaping modern allopathic medicine.
I'm not sure you intended to slur homeopathy as quackery here, but this passage could be interpreted that way: "Under his [Simmons'] leadership, the AMA advanced scientific medicine, but Simmons’ background underscored the blurred lines between legitimate practice and quackery during this transitional period."
What if the pharmaceutical industry could no longer get patents on drugs?

Ditch both. Vaccination meets the etymological definition of homeopathy.

Homeopathy has a distinguished history of successfully treating infectious diseases, such as the Spanish Flu.
