Honest question, where's the lie? Aren't the blisters in the skin a possible outcome of getting mpox? Isn't the picture a true image of someone with mpox?
They used a smallpox image, I think. Although, the blisters can look similar. An image tells a thousand words and can incite undue fear. It is not a highly contagious disease. The image will seed many with the feeling that it is, and they will overreact, roll up their sleeves and take dangerous drugs, and we saw the disaster of that in covid.
