The testing here in Israel is absolutely out of control, and our "cases" are through the roof. 69% of cases have some amount of vaccines, 31% are unvaxxed. Pure chaos here this week.
There is no reason for *anyone* to test for *any* virus or bacteria because ALL of them are killed by mega doses of vitamin C, and other natural safe remedies. With sufficient vitamin D levels, nobody dies of covid (50-75ng/mL). Niacin flushes are also very beneficial.
Still reading the article, but had to comment right away. NO NEGATIVE CONTROLS!!!! If this is true, this is absolutely outrageous. This is high school level competence. Not a journal in the world would publish a paper that had a figure (PCR, Western blot ...) without any control.
I recall an earlier report stating that a suitable coefficient of false positivity was calculated in the UK, and that when it produced the "wrong answer" it was subsequently applied to the wrong measure -- a subset of total population rather than total population -- to return the result to expectations. Attempts to call attention to this error were disregarded.
James, that Drosten test was crap - I'm going to go find the paper and essays that show why it was, and why it was dumped last year. Drosten made up sequences needed, aside from the cycles used. All the pcr tests ignored the real sequences available. The Indian lab that published in January 2020 on the virus? fauXi forced them to retract it, using the threat - no more grant $ for India.
