Yesterday I was wondering when the vaccine zealots who demonized us would apologize. Kudos to Tim Robbins for having the gravitas to take the lead on this important issue.
This truly moved me, and I expressed my gratitude to Tim for his bravery and humility. I am considering launching a new interview series featuring the newly awakened and invited Tim to kick it off as my first subject. Fingers crossed, he’ll take me up on it as there are so few people in the world who have demonstrated the ability reassess one’s position, recalibrate, and make amends.

Wait til he learns that our corrupt Medical Cabal knew/knows the fake vaccine not only does not work but it causes a lot of injuries & deaths which our governments worldwide are covering up!
What if these shots actually worked? Then he would not need to apologize. No, I don’t find this to be a genuine apology. He was wrong regardless if vaccine worked or not, if there are negative effects or not. For me, these things are ultimately irrelevant.
the Hollywood folks have, in the past, given the impression (to me anyway) that they had their fingers on the pulse of society and didn't shy from controversy but boy did the plandemic prove otherwise! just look at the way Fran Dresher was skewered for even suggesting that the over-the-top rules and restrictions for their industry be merely revisited in light of new information. Guess their memories are too short to remember the old days of Black Listing and McCarthyism. however even back then, many were too fearful for their own careers to speak out about the unfair treatment of their peers. history truly does repeat.
it's refreshing to see, and I hope each one of these positive moments inspire others to a). rethink their positions critically b.) have the courage to open their mouths and say something tangible, regardless of their previous beliefs and positions.
Unfortunately, I believe this is a legit cult of scientism, and it's hard to leave the cult.
As welcome as this is, you can’t apologize your way out of pushing medical mandates. People lost their livelihoods over this. Some people lost their health or even their lives. And now that a few of these fools are waking up and feeling guilty about it, they just get a pass? Yeah, no, the people who came up with and enforced these policies belong in prison, and folks like Tim Robbins don’t just get to say “I’m sorry for enabling this behavior. We’re good now tho, right?” and go on about their lives. These people are all dead to me, and they deserve no less than the same consequences they were trying to push on the “unvaccinated” last year. You can take your apology, wrap it up in lipid nanoparticles, and shove it to right back into your body where it belongs.

I agree that is refreshing to read an apology that essentially states "I didn't think then but now I do". Except, we have been led to believe for decades that the crowd of celebrities he travels amongst are deeply intelligent, free thinkers who hone their craft for the benefit of building up a more just society than the day before.
In reality, it is hitting his ego (pretty sure his and Suzie's pocketbooks are not suffering like we little peoples) now. People are not returning to his pet project theatre and he wants to generate attention.
I can forgive them much easier if they just stop "activisting" and just play their role in the movies and stop contributing to the political theatre.
On the one hand I can absolutely appreciate the hollowness with which this rings and the reasons for it, succinctly stated by some in the comments here.
On the other, if we flat out refuse to give them grace, how many more do we imagine would be willing to speak out in light of that? If we've learned any hard lessons over this mess, it's that few are compelled to do the right thing on that thing's own merit. Even this is a good example. I know the right thing to do is to forgive and welcome but my gut reaction is to tell them to fuck off into the ether with their not-quite-contrite apologies.
As well, I don't agree with much of Robbins' and Sarandon's politics outside their seemingly genuine anti-war stance but considering just how much of the "left" has utterly abandoned it, it strikes me as a point for sincerity.
Happily, Tim Robbins is examining his own part in the pandemic’s Mass Formation Psychosis; but he still doesn’t see himself as part of the #Communist movement that has pushed the segmentation and isolation of our society through totalitarianism. #Divideandconquer
Now that the excess deaths can no longer be handled with outright denial, there is a cadre of pharma connected physicians on Twitter, backed up by the usual left leaning journalists and "highly educated credentialed individuals" posting long pseudo-medical threads claiming that they can prove it is the virus that is responsible for these deaths and not the experimental gene therapy injections ("Long Covid" and even "Stealth Covid" for people that have no symptoms or have never tested positive). It's like they are incubating this idea together to come up with the best methods to further inject this explanation into the popular "narrative." They are outright admitting that they could be the next body on the floor, but are working hard to pin the blame on the virus itself and hold the injections sacred.
