And in the case of kennel cough, bordatella bronchiseptica, very close relative to pertussis (whooping cough), despite different antibiotic susceptibility, how about switching to aluminium-free intranasal spray? Its adjuvant appears to be pancreatic digested casein. Can't be that bad, since people sometimes get milk up their noses.
