And, for the record, Butthead, Substack does allow me to ban you. You're ramping up my comments, tho - which increases the chances of a post appearing in the best-of. So keep going, Butthead.
Gotta love the technically illiterate elitism! They always let the authorities holding their leash do the thinking for them ;) Best form of control is when you willingly put on the Masters' collar yourself. Makes it easier for the state licensing board to yank on it and remind you who is really in charge (hint: it's always you that's in charge...you willingly allow yourself to abdicate your responsibility).
At last, a discussion and course that maps out the technical, philosophical and economic roots of this ideology. The recent release of the great book Rockefeller: Controlling the Game (Jacob Nordgaard, PhD) documents the decades long incubation and interaction between the Technocratic movement and the Fabian Society dreams for a centrally controlled system of world governance.
Having worked in the field (briefly) and knowing some of the pioneers, I know that genetic therapies can offer historic new promise for curing life-threatening diseases, mainly cancers.
We always knew of the potential for abuse.
Experience hath shewn that governments tend to be abusers, thieves and murderers.
Our misplaced faith in them is the endemic epidemic that must be countered, not technology.
