If we continue to allow psychopaths and their amoral associates to use our energies to carry out their pathological agendas, it will end badly. We must throw off The Parasite.

It seems obvious but technology could be great but for one fundamental condition - it must not be "owned" by anyone or it owned by all. It cannot be owned by a few. If it is it won't be wonderful and it isn't anywhere near as wonderful now as it could be if it were a public utility. If the rich decide for all then forget it, it will be like throwing your life away into a dumpster. We must not entrust a group to make these critical decisions or us. The internet is wonderful because we can now quantify exactly the number of people for something or against something. We can do it using the Egalitarian Proposal System: https://deniseward.substack.com/p/the-egalitarian-proposal-system

It's definitely time to radically redesign our system of governance, not merely reform it. I've written about similar ideas on DirectDemocracyUS.org

That is not direct democracy though. That still uses a third party. Why do you think we need representatives? Just what do they do that we cannot do? One thing we must understand that may come as a shock is that voting on people makes no sense - a person has their own opinions and they are not your opinions. Also they represent so many other people with so many other opinions. Just which percentage of your views do you think they represent? For voting to matter we need to vote on proposals not people. And we need the platform to make the proposals ourselves. We won't need government buildings. So start thinking about what use we could put them to. Representative government is from a bygone era, where information traveled at horse and buggy speed. Now it travels at light speed, we need new thinking. A direct democracy is the people making the proposals and the people voting on proposals. That's all that's needed other than the agreement of the people for a system such as this. I call it the Egalitarian Proposal System and it's so easy that even children can make proposals and vote on them - why not - it's their future too. I'd like to hear you comments on it if you would. https://deniseward.substack.com/p/the-egalitarian-proposal-system

I don't think we need representatives who vote on our behalf. They can act as advisors or educators. But we would need to amend the Constitution to get rid of Congress altogether. That won't happen tomorrow. When I ran for Congress in 2020, I wanted to be a representative who gave the power of the vote back to the people. I thought this would be a good way to quickly segue into direct democracy. https://directdemocracyus.org/2020/11/11/alexander4congress/

All that is old hat. We just let it wither, spend no time on it to change it or tear it down. It's like an old cook stove, it served its purpose once but no longer does. It's an albatross around our collective and individual neck. Just start using the new systems - like an alternative currency - one that we make for ourselves. And adopt another calendar, reclaim your time. Rome took it away but we can now take it back simply by citing the 13 moon calendar in parentheses every time we cite the Roman date like this - Today is June 1, 2023 (Day 3, 12th Moon, 002) The 002 refers to the new century that was started in 2020.

If this trajectory continues, there will no longer BE any actual humans.

This is absolutely true! I was assigned brave new world to read in high school and unfortunately I hated reading at the time so I just skimmed. But its in my reading list to read again! There is agenda out there to make us all mindless and confused. And its working because there are many blind sheep today.
