"Merely common sense? Only to those of us who have had an opportunity to take a long, long look behind the curtain, a curtain held open by RFK, Jr. and his ever-increasing band of truly ethical scientists (James Lyons-Weiler is one of them). Only those who have been scamming our healthcare, educational, and research systems should be fearful of these seven reforms. An eighth would be to bring America in line with the rest of the developed world (sans New Zeeland) who prohibit direct-to-market (patients) advertising of pharmaceutical products."
Would also like to see medical textbooks reviewed independently for historical context and objective information, excluding opinion influencers. Restore the Hippocratic oath to its original.
Excellent, much needed and good suggestions for solutions. I would add that intentionally using medicine, pharmacy or manipulating anything (availability, data, access etc) for the purpose of profit over health outcomes should be a severely punishable offense that the state would have to pursue.
This is excellent. I've been hoping someone could produce a wish list such as this.
The reason is that I don't share the optimism that most people have about RFK.
The best way to judge him is to lay out these expectations and then see what was achieved after 4 years (I appreciate some objectives take longer)
The KEY thing though, is that we judge RFK the same way we would judge our enemies. Too often people make excuses for the people they support. We see it with Trump all the time (he was misled, he didn't know, he couldn't fight the machine, he was keeping enemies close etc)
No excuses. I hope my doubts are proved wrong in 4 years time.
It appears RFK Jr was one Senator short of 50 last I heard. But there could be a Dem surprise or 2, as well, at least among those who have emphasized bipartisanship, such as new Michigan Senator Elissa Slotkin, who served in the military, and to whom I left a message about the horrifying increase in the rates of health issues such as miscarriages in the military following their mass COVID jabbing they were ordered to take, but not COVID itself the prior year.
Fetterman might also consider the will of the people.
Great lists, thanks, James. Last I heard his confirmation was in the balance, with very nearly enough supporters. But regardless, I'm fairly certain Trump will wear the pharma stooges down with like-minded, albeit less symbolic and much lesser-known nominees until one is confirmed. He seems very determined to drain the cesspool once and for all this time around.
Excellent! It's about time.
Restacked with this intro:

Kudos, Dr. Jack.

Re mental health
Psychedelics need to be brought back into the mainstream and not just for PTSD/military vets.
Maybe YOU should be in Trump's cabinet! :)
Excellent.
In short. Reverse the Rockefeller corruption of health.
Does anyone here have connections to RFK Jr? This should be forwarded to him, as well as Dr Battacharya

Support everything you suggest here!
Go back to 1978 and amend the law allowing direct-to-consumer advertising for ALL pharmaceuticals. This is an abuse of marketing.

Simply brilliant.
