How Well Do You Know Your Medical Rights?
We want to spend time with you reviewing and discussing the source material. Will you join us?
Can you cite the US Code of Federal Regulations on your rights to informed consent? Nuremburg? Helsinki? Bernadette Pajer and I want to make sure you can.
That's why we're spending some of our summer in class w/students reviewing the source material. Sign up now for Medical Rights and Informed Consent. We'll all read the original source material and discuss its meaning. We have four great guest speakers, too. We have six students. We need YOU.

Just as you delineated the difference between sex and gender, there is a difference between right and claim. Absent a valid contract, rights don't exist. Claims, wishes, these do not rights make. The reality of rights is similar to the freedom of choice in the scene in the Godfather where it was either his signature or his brains that were going to be on the paper.
Really glad you're doing this. As someone who works in regulatory affairs and I cite these statutes all the time it's kind of incredible how little people know about these rights laid out by law. And I know people who don't care because "Covid wasn't around when those were written". You can't help some people I guess.
