I just turned 70, cope (ineffectively some days) with progressive chronic health problems, and am kinda exhausted from decades of fruitless advocacy and activism trying to end fluoridation and protect medical autonomy and informed consent for both patient and practitioner, but your articles lift me up and restore hope and TEACH me so much! Thank you!
I'm grateful for all your posts. I can't say as if I have one favorite post--this was a chaotic time and I am grateful for the information. I did just review the list I had liked and I can say what I like about your substack is your authenticity. I like how you ground issues into solid scientific principles for an open discussion. I'm not sure what the Mind Bender podcast intent is however thorough out all of this upheaval I first found RFK jr and Childrenshealthdefense.org as a welcome source of reliable information on critical topics. Consequently I would recommend RFK jr as my top choice as a guest.
Maybe have him as a guest to rationally discuss this very topic? Global warming debate versus natural cyclical climate change based on data found in the ice cores or something similar. Certainly the last 100+ years has brought unprecedented man-made environmental impact but has it tipped the scales of millennia of climate cycles - how do we quantify this in order to make decisions? I have no friggin clue but this is another ideology that needs open discourse in lieu of the current “take our story and eat it or you are against us, you fossil fuel lovin freak!”
Scott, maybe. I learned in undergrad environmental science class climates naturally change about every 30 years. Jokingly--this lends some credence to my parents walking uphill in snow to school ;).
Rationalism can handle only empirical and logical problems. The vast majority of problems are neither, so people use analogies... Existential needs overwrite perception, logic, emotions, and intuitions.
Fave of 2022 on Popular Rationalism (albeit Dr Jack just shared another post from someone else): “There Ain’t Nothin To Forgive On My Side Baby Boo...”

I will definitely send coffee your way, Dr. Jack. Cheers, and let’s keep working on our Michigan lawmakers to make rational and well-reasoned decisions.
I would encourage you to inview Chris Cuomo. He's now on News Nation where he professes to believe that it's critical to get both sides of all stories. I've written to him and asked him to have a debate about vaccines but only got silence. I recommended the FLCCC docs, among others, but explained that he'd have difficulty finding anyone in public health to participate, hoping that would peak his interest and might encourage him to pursue this issue.
Here's something I observed in the last year since I gave up COFFEE. I feel like there was a symbiotic rationale/irrationale attached to the act of drinking coffee. Much freer critical thinking now.
Mind benders first: Daniel Schmacthenberger or Paul Kingsnorth.
I hope that the name "Mind Benders" means you will take us in a slightly different direction, causing us to shift our thinking. If this is correct, and I love Mathew Crawford, but you two are on such similar pages, that I hope you will consider the two named above. Given your book on environment and toxins, I think either of these two speaker/authors would be wonderful.
Andrew Kauffman please. A nice reasoned discussion on why viruses do or dont exist. Structured, predetermined questions so no one can duck. Thanks
This is a very good suggestion since both the protagonists would be calm and measured in their delivery.

I wish you'd wake up Scott. 99% of climatologists around the world aren't wrong my friend.

Yes, that's only rational. :)
Great reporting:Jeremy Hammond!
Each and very Popular Rationalism is exceptional...

Interview Mathew Crawford.
Interview Charles Eisenstein, he has a philosophical view on it but has been spot on from the beginning. his new book, coronation is good.

I am very grateful for your substack and always am looking forward to seeing your posts

Could you please interview the Ethical Skeptic on the subject of this article:

This blew my mind. Maybe a conversation could help me understand the other 95%.
Thank you for everything you do and are, James!
