We’re said to use only 10% of our brain’s learning capacity, but that’s so yesterday. Apparently, we reached the projected evolutionary peak roughly 12 years ago. Which means we’re on the down slope. Given the laws of physics and gravity, we’re snowballing to the nadir. Which places our “ information ratio”, we’re at the 2% level.if not less.

Thanks for the great biology lesson! I had no idea that a single gene could code for multiple proteins.

Thank you Dr. Jack, great lesson . Like Vinny I appreciate the wonder of our bodies and need a break from the doom and gloom!

Thank you so much for this article! I studied microbiology briefly at uni, this was a great refresher, and update to my basic mRNA and methylation knowledge from over 30 years ago (and who knew it would become such a hot topic back then as it is today??)... I'm about to forward this article many times... Thank you once again

Would this possibly be evidence as to the benefits of fasting as well-as in caloric restrictions whether short-medium term? Could these practices such as fasting, such as Ramadan have been generated over the years due to long-term health benefits?
