For what it is worth: Following Chernobyl, practically no one in Europe was nominally safe from wind-borne contamination; e. g., Scotland got hit. Thyroid issues in millions of women to this day. Clif High on self-help: https://clifhigh.substack.com/p/first-aid-for-ohio

I live right outside the derailment. Can she do online? Anyone, especially those younger people need to get away. Their reproductive health is at very high risk.

Incompetence

It is that, and much, much, MUCH more. It was "intentionally accidental" basically, where they set the stage for something in a range of possibilities, all bad. Trudel Group a good article on this in Did Biden conspire to Nuke Palestine? Incompetence?? I think not!! This would be like a fire engine showing up at a fire and deciding to use gasoline rather than water to extinguish a fire??

I’m afraid this was done with evil intent! There is no other rational explanation.

God help us all. 🙏

And then telling everyone its all safe 😭

We are getting no help outside

Kind people are donating water.

LEAVE!!.. I left the 250 Mile Radius & immediately stopped coughing & regained my energy. Still Detoxing hard, planning.. There were NO Warnings & No Testing, even outside Ohio. I grew up in Ohio and went to a top national college there. We had to pass Chemistry, Biology, & Physics, starting in junior high school. Ohio is NOT this "incompetent," trust me. Plus, the citizens there have a Conscience, & LOVE their families & communities, so this would NOT happen without some other very strange, foreign, &/or monetary "influence"!!!- Moreover, it's a Large, Beautiful State (Top 6 per capita Population?) & one of the TOP 3-4 Agricultural Producers in the Entire Nation!!-😡 That said.. THE SILENCE IS DEAFENING!!!- 😡🤯🔥🔥🔥

If anyone wants to do further reading on what is behind, and underneath this, I did an ariticle on substack, here https://blaisevanne.substack.com/publish/post/103102047

Another very good one is here: https://jtrudel.substack.com/p/487cadee-2798-4300-8787-c788df71f5c4

There is MUCH more than meets the eye on this one; indeed, what just happened was Sauron-esque in its evil.

I just called it "criminal " in a cross post of James' article.

Im just outside the derailment. How can I protect myself and family and my land and water? Do you have info? I know activated charcoal removes vinyl chloride. I thought air and water filters for now. But what can I be using, possibly mixing it in, for my soil I organic 😢 garden in?

Expand full comment

For soil cleanup compost tea watered over the the whole area to provide soil microbes that bemreakdown the toxins was info shared by Gavin Mounsey. Did you read my post? It had a follow up with more self care ideas.

Yes I have. But honestly, I am overwhelmed and forgetting almost all I am reading.

It is the action steps that count.

Deep breaths. Grab a notebook, take notes about things you can do realistically and try not to worry about the rest.

I tend to get panicky and it doesn't help thinking, Fer sure.

An activated charcoal filter for drinking and even bathing water if possible would be a good thing to do. Whole house size down to Brita pitchers are available.

Expand full comment

I have activated charcoal filters and air purifiers now thanks to a donation from poplar preparedness yt channel.

I've added to my stress too because I've decided to try and get my town that is adjacent to EP some help too. We are south of EP and all that contamination that went into the waterways came through Negley. It also sits lower so when the chemicals spilled and burned, all the heavy vapors sunk to Negley. Local people are aware of this but we have no mayor to speak up for us. I feel if I don't speak up, we will get no help. I have managed to get 10 air purifiers for the most neediest of our residents.

So you see, Im petrified from the toxins and even more scared we will not recover.

I will be lucky if I keep my mental health because we all know our physical health is in dire jeopardy.

Thank you for listening.

Very welcome and good for you and your community 👍

For chemical spill responses, the last thing you want to do is set it a-blaze. Containment and absorption are the first measures that are normally used. Puncturing and releasing an intact tank, is the last thing you want to do and water cooling the other tanks that are close to the burning tank are the best procedures to follow. Even with the possibility of a chemical tank exploding, you DO NOT puncture, but attempt to siphon off or reduce the pressure in the tank to prevent explosion.

This response was beyond incompetent and seems calculated to produce the worst outcomes that can be managed. The data are all over the place and the media response is not coordinated to produce a cogent story, but to muddy the water as much as possible.

I don’t watch msm news. But heard that they are not even covering it.

I have heard conflicting stories about whose decision it was to set the chemicals on fire. Who was it?

Thanks. So it sounds as if Norfolk Southern gave them only two options.

Yes, that's what it sounds like....if he is telling the truth...

Or was it Deep State DoD advice they used?

Expand full comment

Well, the question is, who was advising the railroad company? Because the governors got their advice from them. I'm inclined to think the railroad company was just acting like a corporation and trying to get themselves off the hook.

Dr. Jack, Could you please explain what the models mean? Thanks.

I suggest using the map provided on Ray's the source Substack piece, that shows the watershed affected- basically feeds into every major river system, but then also overlay a map of farming land. If you see what I see (pretty hard to not!) Then you'll see the longer term affects of this "just a train crash". Also combine it with the legislation around government purchase of toxic, polluted land....🤔🤔

DeWine extolled how he talked with PA governor for 2 hours about what to do - neither of them have HazMat expertise let alone experience! HazMat people from the state agencies that actually know their stuff, and private and local HazMat on the ground couldn't get through to Governor's office!? Suffolk had the governors' ears though - Suffolk had generously donated to their campaigns. DeWine deferred to the RR to tell him what to do!? The state agency heads involved are political appointees and state career management types, not current up to date trained and familiar with the subject matters. DeWine kept himself in an impenetrable pink bubble to act within, focusing on what seemed to be the best political expediency for him, not allowing the people who know how to handle the mess access and input. Why did any of the people doing the press conference think their shallow bullshit was going to fly? I had the impression a couple of them did not believe their own bullshit. I think there will be resignations. Meanwhile, EPA wouldn't talk to anyone, and no Red Cross, not even OH Disaster Planning and Relief.

Expand full comment

Why did DeWine make a call to DoD as a matter of urgency? Were there any compounds for the manufacture of chemical weapons?

Expand full comment

Hmm! I come up with he may have called DOD about dealing with the dioxins that will poison everything, was there way to mitigate them since DOD has experience with Agent Orange and how big a problem would that be when Southern Norfolk burned the contents of those cars. His Hazmat people could have told him that was a no-go option if they could have gotten to him, IMO.

But all I can do is guess!

The Red Cross received 25,000 for relief help. My friend called them to see how they're using the money. Get this, they put it in a disaster relief fund and haven't used it yet. They said they are waiting from Norfolk to tell them what to do with it. We are left to fend for ourselves here. She called and talked with Jim McIntyre- Regional communications director @ 216-213-4670. Here is Also Northern Regional office # 216-431-3010. You can friend me on FB. Dana Linger. I live just out from the derailment. Everyone should research the Red Cross ( and Goodwill). They aren't in it for the people.

I watched that ridiculous awkward conference. They had done some prep work with Michael Regan, including how to stand, demeanor, etc. They managed him carefully, gave him a few sound bite statements while looking "serious" and resolute. I had to wonder if the questions they took were plants?

The Red Cross can't figure out what to do with it - (splutter)!? Oh wow.

I have read some on RC before, including trafficking, smuggling, running all kinds of things. Execs etc. are paid well. Will look you up @ fb,

This is why we need hemp, hemp, hemp. Hemp is a phytoremidator which means it cleans the soil. It's also the most sensible thing to use that can replace plastics and thousands of other petrochemicals including fuels. We need to be growing lots of hemp everywhere and regenerate the soil. The UN never talks about hemp, NEVER.

Because they only want to destroy not regenerate!
