1. People with natural immunity -- recovered from Covid -- benefit little if any from the vaccine, and do not need the risk. (Unless they wish so). But Dr. Walensky still has NOT recognized natural immunity.
2. The vax does NOT protect against Omicron infection or spread. Period. Why should anyone get a vax or booster that protects against a previous (now vanishing) variant? Makes NO sense.
3. Omicron does NOT present the mortality risk of Delta or previous variants. In fact, it so far has shown little to no ability to significantly infect the lungs. It manifests as an upper respiratory similar to the common cold. So why get vaxxed for it? Also makes no sense as we know the vaccines and booster shots come with health risks. People have died from the vax or booster. So far in the USA we have NO proven cases of death from Omicron. So far NOT ONE.
4. Children had a statistically insignificant risk of dying from the previous and more dangerous variants. Near to zero as population stats permit. Only severely co-morbid or immuno--compromised children had meaningful risk. If anything, children have LESS risk from Omicron. Vaccinating children makes no sense, and exposes them to unnecessary risk from the vaccines -- which we do know have risks.
Like a broken record, Dr. Walensky keeps arguing that everyone should get vaxxed and boosted. Including children. We're getting into medical malpractice on a national scale. You can defend her. I cannot.
So to wrap this up. Don't fear the Omicron. Recognize natural immunity. Do not subject otherwise healthy children to a foolish and dangerous experiment in justification of an already failing public health policy. We need to end ALL vax mandates related to Covid-19.
When are people going to realize that co-morbidities equates to prescription drugs. Who in this day and age have a co-morbidity and aren't taking drugs? Answer: No one. So, is it the co-morbiditity or the underlying drugs interfering with peoples immune systems that is the problem? I'm betting on the drugs.
