Let's do it!

All very good and necessary changes!

One other change is desperately needed, the end of pharmaceutical advertising. The constant drumbeat of “there’s a pill for that” has fostered an environment where people EXPECT their doctor to prescribe something for every little ache or pain.

I have been fortunate to have doctors who weren’t on the bandwagon, one went so far as to establish 2 hours a week when pharma reps could stop by then alerted his patients of the 2 hour window so they could schedule around it. When I quit the triglycerides medicine, another said “good, you don’t need it.” It turns out that medicine is prescribed to diabetics preventatively under pressure from pharma, statins as well which I also quit. The statins and triglycerides meds were pushed on me by specialists, not my GP.

We are 1 of only 2 countries in the world that allow pharma to advertise, I believe New Zealand is the other. This is one area where we need to rejoin the world!

Yes, New Zealand is the other country on the globe that allow drug ads on the air. Let's leave NZ to be the only country to do so. But the kiwis are catching on, their former leader Jacinda Adern, a WEF Young Global Leader, has already resigned. Their replacement seems to be no different, though.

This is truly exciting! I am in tears at how this plan will change Americans and America for the better. It is critically essential for the nation's future. One hope I have, is that every school emphasizes the importance of health as a central part of curriculum. Thank you James Lyons-Weiler.

Get the government out of the market. Completely. No NIH, FDA, USDA or any government agency to:

* Hire medical researchers, scientists, doctors, etc., away from the free market.

* Be bribed/threatened to approve/reject products.

* Control research through laws, subsidies and bribes (taxpayer funds).

* Regulate free market trade with no-value-added impediments, raising costs through bureaucracy.

* Add waste and cost to food, health products and services with no benefit.

* Create engineered pathogens to release on the public that result in loss of livelihood, transfer of wealth, and loss of freedom.

* Withhold known-to-be-effective treatments from the public.

* Foist poison on the public, even mandating it (childhood vax schedule, mRNA shots, toxic food additives, food processing chemical toxins, for example).

There is a market for information, and private companies will do the work of verifying the claims of safety, effectiveness, side-effects/dangers, etc. In fact, the free market is the ONLY way to get unbiased information, where branding and reputation are the standards of value. Government agents are paid regardless of whether they help or harm, and they are targets for bribes and threats - always.

I agree with this, getting rid of the agencies. Dr James proposal sounds good and might be good at first, but then would devolve into bureaucracy fairly quickly.

Private industry cannot be expected or trusted to do unbiased scientific research. The threats and bribes you speak of comes from the free market. We must have government scientists, just not the expensive bureaucracy proposed. Sounds like a jobs project for PhDs.

Will they eliminate the buckets of cash for DEI? I am a bit skeptical that this isn't more like rearranging deck chairs.

Well stated, Jack. To drive the point home, there is a nomination page: https://nominees.mahanow.org/

Please keep reminding them what they promised ... Trump promised to end the war in Ukraine and is considering Marco Rubio for Secretary of State .. ugh ... Still, the difference with allowing there to be free speech is huge and I don't regret my vote ... I hope Thomas Massie has a powerful position, and I hope you, Dr Lyons-Weiler do also, or at least the curious, collaborative ear of those in powerful positions ...

Is the author(whom I respect immensely as well as his former co author, Dr. Paul Thomas) aware of GAPS: Gut and Psychology/Physiology Syndrome? I did a research project on this and yes, heavy metals are involved in these and the biggest source is not vaccines but the food supply. The biggest sources of contamination are grains, refined flour, sugar, corn syrup and vegetable oils.

excellent! this is the HEALTH care system that millions of us want and deserve. me (and my kids) opted out of the allopathic sick care system many years ago and never looked back. I don't want nor need a GP whose tool box only contains Rx pad and whose 'knowledge base' is dictated by profits.

as I watch my peers' bags of medicine bottles and lists of how many doctors they see, get larger and larger, and listen to them talk about all their ailments, in my mind I am thinking: well I had a headache about 3 yrs ago... and it never occurs to THEM to ask ME what I am 'doing right'.

I know its not nice to laugh at all the screeching, hand-waving naysayers rant about the disaster that RFK jr's HHS leadership will be, but damn if I just can't help myself. these people have NO idea what actual HEALTH looks/feels like! they have accepted the normalization of chronically ill children and adults seeing an average of 3 different doctors. obesity and diabetes are nearly accepted parts of aging. meat bad; seed oils good. OMG, Bobby is gonna take your chips and soda pop away!!! its all just too funny... in a sad way.
