I long for a time where people don't use environmental activism to advocate for harming humans, and vice-versa. Given that people are dependent on the natural world, and have a great capacity to give back...you would think caring for people and caring for the environment wouldn't be seen as at odds with each other!

I played few times in my childhood with little beautiful running balls of mercury from broken thermometer... sigh!
It softens my sadness knowing there are still rational people out there.
