In 2023, tech experts warned about the dangers of generative AI and the need to regulate it. Tristan Harris, former Google design ethicist, and Aza Raskin a member of the World Economic Forum's Global AI Council, went to the White House and helped write an Executive Order called "On the Safe, Secure, and Trustworthy Development and Use of Artificial Intelligence."Â Â
Should we assume they have our best interests in mind?Â

Am I the only one more afraid of the regulations? My concern being that if there is all this onerous regulation, only these large, bias and corrupt entities with all this money and investment will be able to navigate them, and like with big pharma, and big food, they WILL game the system. I like the idea of this being as accessible and diverse as an industry as it can be, with a lot of competition. My personal AI is the only way to counter Big Brother AI. If OpenAI wants to create WOKE AI Inc. I would love someone to counter that with Red Pill AI Inc. to make sure people can get information that someone else is trying to filter or hide. The ship has sailed, the tech is out there, the genie is not going back in the bottle, now it needs to be competitive without the government picking the winner.
I signed for the webinar. As a hypnotist, I am concerned for AI's intrusion, in a covert way, into the subconscious minds of people looking for a free fix.
