I decided the first episode of Unbreaking Science of 2022 should be a celebration of some of the best Substackers - a version of Unbreaking Science I call Stackerz - so Geert Vanden Bossche, Mathew Crawford, and Jessica Rose and I went round-robin style on some of our recent substack articles.
Things were progressing along nicely, and Geert was describing the increased invasiveness of more recent SARS-CoV-2 variants - and BAM! A spider stole the show @ 25:00:00. You won’t believe Jessie’s reaction!

OMG, this was SO much fun! I loved hearing your thinking and seeing your interaction with one another. From the perspective of a layperson in your respective audiences, I totally resonate with everything you said at the end about the richness and vibrancy of Substack. It feels to me like a real community of thinkers, researchers, practitioners, and concerned citizens all over the world who are tracking what's going on and attempting to hold back the tide of totalitarianism. I'm profoundly grateful to all four of you for the committed and generous work that you're doing and for including the rest of us in your process. (And, by the way, I loved the spider episode, especially on the heels of your post today, Jessica!) I look forward to the next installment of this!
