IPAK-EDU Director's Science Webinar Series Monday, Jan 23rd @ 2PM ET
Dr. Guillemette Crepeaux on aluminum-impaired autophagy
Please Note the time change to 2pmET from the usual 7pm
This week's webinar is about the effects of exposure to aluminum adjuvants in vaccines and its toxic effects on autophagy, a critical part of human biology during development and immunology.
Presenter: Dr. Guillemette Crepeaux
Monday, January 23 2pm ET
Title: Inflammation and Autophagy: A Convergent Point between Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)-Related Genetic and Environmental Factors: Focus on Aluminum Adjuvants
In this presentation, Dr. Crépeaux will review the central points of her main research work on the neurotoxicity of aluminum adjuvants, explaining some of the results obtained by her team over ten years. She will focus more particularly on the description of the links between early exposure to aluminum adjuvants and impaired autophagy, and on the effects of this gene-environment combination in the occurrence of neurodevelopmental disorders, which represent a crucial question in public health.
