Maternal stress? Blaming autism on mothers, who have to watch their children suffer with autism?!

If autism is caused by maternal “stress,” then wouldn’t every child born during times of war or great societal upheaval have been Dx’d with autism?

You are too rational for legacy media and the Pharma cartel, Alicia!

All of these theories can be put to the test in one fell swoop. A single huge randomized control study. Newborns split into two groups and followed for years. One group gets placebos at every pediatric visit, the other group gets the CDC vax schedule. Since SIDS manifests very early in life, and autism manifests before age three, in three years we would have the answer. I hope RFK gets this going ASAP!

The only thing I needed to see about the rising number of autistic children was that in communities that refuse vaccination, like the Amish, they were not impacted by the rise in autism. Whether it’s the vaccines themselves or the adjuvants remains to be determined.

Difference? Antigen-only vaccines, other than live, are few and far between.

Excellent article and you're right that it's not the screen time thst causes autism, autism causes kids to be more comfortable with screens than with human interaction. Use them wisely and they can be beneficial. My grandson taught himself to read when he was 2 on his tablet. Early diagnosis and intervention, reasonable screen time for educational videos and games only. And interact with them while they're using the device. We got right in his face, what are you watching, what are you playing? Sit with them on your lap or right beside them in contact with them. These are the things that worked for us. I wish that he hadn't been vaccinated, he never regressed but something changed, he stopped making eye contact, interacted less with us, more with the tv. Rolled around listlessly from toy to toy. Shook his head back and forth a lot. We'll never know...

"maternal immune activation"

With constant exposure to pathogens, the immune system's job is to stay activated. What's the point of an immune system that is not "activated"?

Point is inappropriate activation, such as aluminum adjuvants cause. How does immunity to pollen, mold spores, and one's own proteins help anything?

It must be clarified that inappropriate activation is the problem, not activation.

Very important topic. Immune dysregulation might well prove to be the final common pathway to autism AND the initial common pathway might prove to be synergistic environmental toxicity. In such a scenario, a "magic bullet" cure/prevention may not suffice. Instead, a supramolecular biological approach might be called for. At present, we need more hypothesis generation and hypothesis testing.
