thanks for that summary article. MB certainly deserves caution! From the studies you listed in your article, MB increases cancer and DNA damage at the dosage levels used in the studies. However, those doses are orders of magnitude greater than what most humans are using today. At 2.5 mg/kg for a 60 kg (132 pound) human (the smallest dose tested in one of the cancer studies), that would be 150 mg of MB! Users today are taking as little as 2 mg to as much as 15 mg. Could doses that small still be carcinogenic? Of course! But we don't know and won't know until human studies are done with extremely small doses.
Pima, you have hit on a common problem with armchair medical “experts” on social media. Because they want to appear to have secret knowledge that others do not possess, they publish “shocking” reports like, “Methylene Blue Causes Cancer.” In a world that rewards clicks, that’s a cheap way to get a reward. But such “shocking” headlines do not provide useful information, and of course, they would never publish a report truthfully titled, “Taking 50 Times the Usual Dose of Methylene Blue Every Day May Cause Cancer.”
The other common problem with social media medical “experts” is that they’re often shills for Big Pharma. There are two varieties of their posts: 1) Cheap natural products are ineffective; or 2) Cheap natural products may kill you. Dr Pain’s comment is the second type, of course, and we saw many similar during Big Pharma’s COVID debacle, e.g., taking chlorine dioxide is like drinking bleach. There also many examples of the first type, usually that some supplement is not effective at curing X, without mentioning that nobody ever claimed the supplement would “cure X,” or that the ineffective trial used 1/10th of the recommended dose.
Fortunately, there are sites like Dr Lyons-Weiler’s that provide balanced, rational analysis of the information that’s available. That may be why self-styled “experts” or Big Pharma shills are drawn to this site. Thankfully, the folks here are knowledgeable enough to call out such foolishness, like you did, Pima.
Thanks for your interest. Compare the many people concerned about Pfizer/BioNTech Lipid Nanoparticles measured by radiotracer in rodents reaching and accumulating in the Ovaries. The amount of chemicals is in nanograms or less. Searching "Methylene Blue Carcinogen" on PubMed I found 356 papers that you might like to examine.
ah, so you are a Pharma plant, eh? The measure of what's happening with the poison injections is the RESULT: 20 million dead globally (at least) and more dying every day from heart attacks, strokes, turbo cancers. And hundreds of millions seriously injured. My sister and brother both had heart injuries from the shots. Sister of close friend of mine died in her sleep after her 2nd Murder-na shot. I know of 3 deaths and more than a dozen serious life changing injuries from the poison injections. That's out of about 200 people I know who took the jabs. So nanoparticles, spike protein, pseudouridine, whatever... I don't know the mechanism, but the result is blatantly apparent.
Glad to see you admit that milligram amounts of chemicals contaminated with picograms of Endotoxin are a worry. What are your views on Methylene Blue bioaccumulation in duped Humans and innocent creatures in the environment?
Yup, as I’d often remind my physician colleagues, in the end, pharmacology always wins.
Dextromethorphan is the most common culprit here. Since it’s often not effective, I’d generally avoid it on principle. Check combination OTCs. You’re better off using the individual drugs. I had a young woman end up in ER with serotonin syndrome after taking dextromethorphan for a cough while on SSRIs.
Ovaries at risk

thank you for this warning
Thank u .
I've never taken any Alka-Seltzer formulation and never taken or have any interest in Methylene Blue, but this is good to understand.

wow! So serotonin syndrome must be a common enough condition that ER physicians know how to recognize it and treat it.
Yes, and who is at risk, and how to prevent it as well
do you have an article that answers both questions: who's at risk, and how to prevent? thanks!

Maybe more than you need.
