Are there any other vaccine proponents that give that side a better argument than Dr. Offit? If one was trying to look for the best steel man arguments for Covid vaccines, and the current vaccine schedule what is a decent source/book? I can't really take Offit seriously anymore. I got up to the part in Prophets of Autism where he uses class action lawsuits against breast implants as an argument against having removed thimerosol from vaccines and I had to tap out. Frankly, the study that proved the silicone breast implants were safe should have been done before the surgeries but regardless, the idea that vaccine manufacturers shouldn't error on the side of caution because the masses may lose confidence is pretty awful on its face.

"Bad Science Theater" (a riff on the old cult show, "Mystery Science Theater 2000!) LMAO. gonna make time this weekend to check that out, hopefully with an adult beverage in hand. I hope you talk over the audio like the original.

If he is really vaxxed, this problem will solve itself soon.

You should do a Bad Science episode featuring Canada's Dr. Teresa Tam and her ridiculous 'Counterfactuals' that were entirely funded AND overseen regarding scientific rigour and data etc. by the Public Health Agency of Canada (inscrutable and unaccountable). Tam's "science" proves that the harsh measures of lockdown, testing, masks, confinement and prohibition of safe effective early treatment coupled with mandated experimental gene injections and firing millions of workers including health care professionals, saved 34 million Canadians from Covid infections that would have led to the death of many. Canada's population is barely more than that. Ludicrous.

At ~ 1h44m in the vid you are wondering why to continue to pay for VAERS, did Offit just kill it with his arguments?

Well, not just that - IIRC, creating VAERS was the condition for signing the 1986 childrens' vaccine act, allowing pharma companies to be automatically off the hook when their product creates damage, if it is on the childhood vaccine schedule.

If VAERS doesn't provide signals, as Offit claims, then the condition for that vaccine act is null and void, and the act should be rescinded?

Is there some possibility of legal attack there? (can one fight laws that were made on false premises?) Invite Offit as witness, and provide his pubic statements. That would be funny.

Offit's claim that in VAERS, the numbers for the 3 special products are higher than those of all vacs of 30 years combined is only because of "billions got those 3 !!!" doesn't even need elaborate analysis like that of J.Rose to be debunked.

First, the "billions!!!" is a distraction, it's not billions in the VAERS-covered area.

And then: This surpassing of entries for the 3 products vs. 70 vacs of 30 years combined had happened already HALF A YEAR AFTER ROLLOUT, where mostly only elderly had gotten them - those with the weaker reacting immune systems, .... That's what should have been thrown back in Offit's face.

I don't buy the idea one in this video mentioned, that Offit may "really believe it". For an expert he seems woefully uninformed of important but basic & easy to look at things.
